For the past 25 years Judy Barie has lived and worked as a full time studio artist outside of Pittsburgh, PA. Her work has been shown extensively in solo exhibitions across the country, most recently in Scottsdale Arizona. She has won numerous awards and her paintings and works on paper have been placed in several private, corporate and museum collections. She divides her time between her home and studio in Pittsburgh and Chautauqua, New York. She is entering her second year as the Director of the Chautauqua Center for the Visual Arts in Chautauqua Institution, where she spends 10 weeks each summer curating a variety of national and regional exhibitions. |
